During the planning and establishment of ICBA, the center recruited a broadly based panel of experts to guide the development of its facilities and programs. This committee, established by the Islamic Development Bank, had a fivefold remit.
Follow up the implementation of technical aspects of the project.
Evaluate the master plan for the center, including its operational plan, organizational structure, technical programs and site development.
Evaluate detailed engineering designs for the center and its facilities.
Contribute to the development of networking at the center.
Provide scientific advice to guide the technical implementation of the project.
The 11 members of the committee were selected from Australia, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK and the USA.
