Rafeek El-Madhoun joined ICBA in August 2016 as Senior Researcher. He is part of the team responsible for managing the Collaborative Program Euphrates and Tigris (CPET). His functions include following up with implementing partners, monitoring the progress of the project against the work plan, tracking the financial matters, reporting and forecasting future budgets, consolidating the Implementing Partners reports, managing the logistics for the country partners and Implementing Partners meetings.
Prior to this role, he had worked as Program Manager with UNDP in Palestine, and World Food Program, Welfare Association, Tere Des Hommes, UNRWA.
He holds a master’s in Science of Management from Boston University and a bachelor’s in Community Rehabilitation from the University of Calgary.
He has authored three publications, refereed journal articles, a number of conference papers and research reports.
