Objectives

1. Determine the long-term effects of a one-off application of biochar as a soil amendment on the rehabilitation of degraded land and its properties.
2. Evaluate the natural vegetation in a desert environment as affected by biochar without human intervention.
3. Monitor changes in land use and land cover using remote-sensing and spatial analysis techniques.
