Seed Multiplication and Rejuvenation of Different Crops for Genebank Conservation

Objectives

1. To grow fresh seeds of different crops whose germination drop down below the threshold level (85%)
2. To conserve the fresh good quality seeds with high germinability in the genebank for research and distribution purposes

Seed multiplication of 2,175 accessions belonging to 10 different crops:

5. Echinochloa 100 
6. Mung bean 100
7. Quinoa 500
8. Safflower 340
9. Sorghum 335
10. Triticale 385
