ICBA Advances Climate Action at Samarkand International Climate Forum

Dubai, UAE – 5 April, 2025 – A high-level delegation from the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) participated in the Samarkand International Climate Forum, held in Uzbekistan on 4–5 April 2025. The forum followed the Central Asia–European Union Summit, which paved the way for a new phase of climate cooperation and sustainable development in the region. It also aligned with the Presidential Decree designating 2025 as the Year of Environmental Protection and the Green Economy in Uzbekistan, reinforcing the country’s commitment to advancing climate and sustainability agendas at the national and regional levels.
