Evaluation of the efficiency of BonteraTM microbial soil enhancer in improving soil quality for crop production

Problem Overview

Sandy soil is mainly low in organic matter content and limited inherited capability to support biological activity. Thus, the use of effective microorganisms could further enhance the efficiency of compost especially under marginal soil conditions like those in the United Arab Emirates. Improving the organic matter status and microbial activity could therefore help transform such soils into fertile and productive lands.

The purpose of this project is to improve the quality of sandy soils.
