Call for consultancies: Project evaluation consultant

Job Summary

This consultancy will be carried out within the IDRC funded project entitled: Scaling up quinoa value chain to improve food and nutritional security in poor rural communities of Morocco. The consultant will evaluate and assess the project progress according to the work plan and will analyze the project outputs and provide an evaluation report including recommendations to fulfil the project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Participate and facilitate yearly project workshop
  • Analysis of project deliverables and results
  • Determine project gaps and assess project KPIs
  • Elaboration of an evaluation report including recommendation
  • Suggest corrective measure to achieve project results
Qualifications and Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the international agricultural research and development arena, with a focus on food/nutrition security, agriculture, livelihoods
  • Experience in quinoa crop
  • Ability to research, analyze and synthesize information related to complex development issues;
  • Familiarity with rural communities
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
