Internship in Soil Carbon Dynamics Research

Job Summary

The intern will be involved in a research project focusing on soil carbon dynamics. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about environmental science and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking research in carbon sequestration.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze field data related to soil carbon dynamics.
  • Assist in laboratory work, including soil sample analysis.
  • Contribute to data processing and the preparation of reports.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and project discussions.
  • Regular data reports detailing findings from field and laboratory work.
  • A final report summarizing the learning experience and contributions to the project.
  • Presentation of findings to the research team at the end of the internship.

 

*The intern will receive a monthly stipend of 3000 AED.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an environmental science or related program.
  • Basic understanding of soil science, carbon dynamics, and research methodologies.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Residing in the UAE and able to commit to the full duration of the internship.
